On the 2nd Degree Reiki you receive a further 4 Attunements. At this stage of the training, the energy Attunement is greatly amplified with its focus now on the etheric body rather than the physical. Those who have made any study of the human energy system will be aware that our etheric body vibrates at a frequency much higher than the denser energy of the physical body. As a result of these additional four Attunements students often develop both a greater sensitivity to the energy, become more intuitive and psychically aware.

 

During the 2nd Degree course you will be introduced and attuned to three energy keys or symbols. These symbols can be used as a focus to enhance the energy, enable you to strengthen mental and emotional healing and to send absentee healing. A large part of the training for this degree is centred on the understanding and the use of these symbols and their mantras. Students will practise using these symbols on the other students and also experiencing how it feels to receive them from the other students. Emphasis is also placed on recognising the powerful effect that symbolism can have on the unconscious mind. Techniques are taught to enable you to:

 

• Focus energy to release both emotional and mental blocks

• Focus your mind to send Reiki energy beyond time and space and thus bring about effective absentee healing

 

The symbols used are three of the sacred symbols that Dr Usui discovered during his lengthy research and are therefore esoteric in nature. Although it is through initiation that your connection to the symbols is strengthened, Reiki students are asked to honour their sacred nature and not to disclose them to non-Reiki initiates.  It is important to note that although there are many symbols shown on the internet, they are all slightly different and you need to learn the symbols to which you have been attuned for them to work.

On completion of the course you will be able to send distant healing and on successfully completing the required Case Studies and hours of practice will be awarded your Certificate and be qualified to give Reiki treatments to paying clients having, of course, first taken out the necessary insurance.  

 

The lineage you are attuned to will also validate you to become a member of the UK Reiki Federation (UKRF) and/or The Reiki Association (TRA) which is very important if you wish to be a "practising" Reiki Practitioner.  You will of course, receive a Reiki 2 manual which also incorporates the Reiki 1 manual and a link to my private Reiki Practitioner page, as well as a gift.

There is a maximum of 5 places on each course so you are always engaged in learning.

 

All my students and Practitioners are invited to my Reiki Shares and Meditation Events which I run throughout the year.  These usually start with a light bite, followed by a meditation and release and then a Reiki Share which gives the opportunity to both give and receive treatments and if you wish, share your experiences with others.
